Would you like to lead a driven UK professional sales team selling a horse feed brand that offers absolute trust and reassurance to horse owners, a brand that manufactures relevant products suited to individual horses needs?
SPILLERS® are leaders in innovative equine nutrition and since the launch of the original Horse and Pony Cubes in the late 1950’s, have been feeding some of the world’s best known horses to the family pony for generations. From competition performance to leisure enjoyment SPILLERS® has become synonymous with proven feed formulations and expertise, providing the best in equine health.
The professional sales team is fundamental to the success of our brand; with this in mind we are looking to recruit a Professional Sales Manager to lead and develop our highly motivated and expert team of nutritionists to support the development and growth of our brand.
Reporting to the Marketing and Sales Director, the main functions of this role will include the leadership and motivation of the professional sales team to achieve annual operating plans; responsibility to drive the profitable growth of the business and to develop a highly respected, professional, knowledgeable and engaged team.
As a requirement you should have a first level degree and at least three years of proven sales experience, ideally leading a field sales team. You will also be knowledgeable and credible in at least one major equestrian discipline with financially sound commercial sense.
The leadership capabilities identified for this role include the delivery of consistent results, the ability to build collaborative relationships and an ability to engage and develop associates. For the right candidate a training and development programme will be implemented.
