Non-Heating Feeds

The SPILLERS® Leisure Feeds range incorporates cubes and mixes for horses and ponies with low energy requirements. All the feeds in the leisure range contain controlled levels of cereal starch and good levels of fibre to help reduce the risk of over excitability.

Horse and Pony Cubes and Cool Mix are SPILLERS® principle non-heating* feeds, but the range also includes SPILLERS® Meadow® Herb Mix, specially formulated for the fussy eaters and SPILLERS® High Fibre Cubes, recognised by the Laminitis Trust as suitable for horses and ponies at risk from Laminitis.

* A non-heating feed is one that is less likely to produce excitable behaviour in some horses and ponies when fed at the recommended rate.
