Jeanette is one of Britain’s top event riders and a longstanding member of the British Eventing Team. She leapt to recognition in 1996 when she took over the rides from Sarah Cutteridge for the Lawrence David Event Team, which resulting in her achieving 3rd place at Windsor with ‘Raindancer’, and 7th place at Bramham with ‘Over to You’.
Jeanette was then awarded the Horse Trials Support Group Scholarship in 1997 and was made a member of the British Team one year later. She was the team's pathfinder from 1999-2002 and has gone from strength to strength since.

Over To You
Jeanette's most famous horse to date would have to be 20-year-old ‘Over to You’, known at home as Jack. Jack was retired from four star eventing after Badminton last year, but he still lives at Jeanette’s yard and gets out and about competing. Some of their biggest achievements consist of 8 medals for Great Britain, including individual silver at the 2004 World Equestrian Games, 2 Olympic team silver medals and 4 European team golds. By the end of 2006 Jack had achieved the most number of British Eventing points, breaking the record set by King William. He has currently totted up an impressive 2170 points.
The pair are also the only combination to record 7 completions of Badminton. Jeanette now runs a yard with Australian rider Brook Staples in Staffordshire.
