Press Release

Winter condition without fizz from SPILLERS®

December 2007

The energy requirements of your horse or pony will increase during the winter months as the weather gets chillier and the grass growth slows down. This can lead to rapid weight loss unless his diet is adjusted accordingly but you can trust SPILLERS® to have a safe solution. With their usual reliability they have come up with a fizz-minimising way to help ensure your horse or pony will get the nutrition and condition he needs to keep out the cold - SPILLERS® Conditioning Cubes and SPILLERS® Conditioning Mix.

The art of gaining and maintaining condition is to ensure that it is built up slowly and steadily, to produce excellent topline but without causing behavioural problems. SPILLERS® Conditioning Cubes and SPILLERS® Conditioning Mix do exactly that. They have been specifically formulated for horses and ponies that tend to be excitable on traditional conditioning feeds and in trials they have been proven to improve topline in as little as two weeks, without increasing excitability.

SPILLERS® Conditioning Cubes and SPILLERS® Conditioning Mix provide good quality protein from soya to support muscle tone and topline. With high oil and controlled starch levels both formulations achieve the desired condition without fizz. Soya oil ensures non-heating* calories and excellent coat condition and a full spectrum of vitamins and minerals support long-term wellbeing. Both feeds can be used as part of the hard feed ration or they can totally replace the existing hard feed to provide a nutrient-dense ration.

If you would like to discuss your horse’s diet telephone the SPILLERS® Care-Line on + 44 (0)1908 226626 or send an email to careline@spillers-feeds.com. For further information visit the SPILLERS® website at www.spillers-feeds.com
