Happy Hoof®

Unique low calorie fibre blend

SPILLERS HAPPY HOOF® is a unique, low calorie fibre blend for horses and ponies prone to laminitis. Happy Hoof is the first complete chopped fibre feed approved by The Laminitis Trust

  • A unique blend of oat straw, alfalfa, grass, mint, garlic and soya oil with added vitamins and minerals.
  • Extends eating time due to its short chopped form
  • SPILLERS HAPPY HOOF® can be used as a complete feed or a replacement for compound feed

Feed Safely

The key to reducing the risk of laminitis is management, including restricting grass intake when pastures are rich (particularly during the spring and autumn) and avoiding cereal based compound feeds.

World wide research into laminitis recommends high fibre diets with low levels of soluble carbohydrates and fructans, and a broad spectrum of vitamins and minerals. SPILLERS HAPPY HOOF® and SPILLERS® High Fibre Cubes contain essential vitamins and minerals with high fibre, low starch and low sugars – making it perfectly suited for horses and ponies prone to laminitis.
