  • 1958 SPILLERS® launched Horse & Pony Cubes
  • 1968 SPILLERS® became the official supplier to British Equestrian Teams
  • 1979 SPILLERS® acquired by Dalgety
  • 1982 SPILLERS® established French franchise
  • 1996 SPILLERS® established USA franchise
  • 1998 Independent buy out from Dalgety led to the creation of Spillers Speciality Feeds
  • 2002 Mars Inc. purchased Spillers Speciality Feeds and created Effem Equine Ltd, the home of SPILLERS®, WINERGY®  AND EQUIVITE®  
  • 2005 Effem Equine Ltd acquired US based company BUCKEYE® Nutrition
  • 2007 Effem Equine Ltd changes name to MARS Horsecare UK Ltd
