Could you be the next SPILLERS Ambassador?
We are helping to make dreams come true in 2021 with the launch of the SPILLERS Ambassador Programme. This sensational new scheme is giving ten talented UK-based riders the chance to shine with the help of professional mentors such as William Fox-Pitt, Joe Stockdale and Judy Harvey.
Whether you are an established competitor or at grass roots level you are invited to apply to become a SPILLERS Ambassador. Ten lucky winners will be matched with a professional mentor within their discipline and within their area. They will receive four coaching sessions from their mentor during the year. In addition, to help their horses perform at their best they will receive two-yard visits from a SPILLERS nutritionist, to include access to a weighbridge and £250 of SPILLERS feed vouchers. The winners will also receive a smart collection of SPILLERS-branded riding kit.
Each of the winners will be invited to chart and share their progress across social media channels and will also have the exciting opportunity of becoming a guest blogger on the SPILLERS website.

I compete in barrel racing and have represented my the UK at the world championships in Perry Georgia USA 3yrs ago and aim to go bck 2021 I know it's not dressage show jumping or eventing however barrel horses are trained to the standard of grand prix dressage horses and it would be amazing to have dressage lessons with a coach

I am also have two younger ones that I am bringing on and competing.
Hamper is a 15.2hh lusitarno 7 year old who has so much potential.
Louvie is a 14.2hh andilusion 7 year old. These two haven’t been in work very long (just over a year) have have come on leaps and bounds already.
Bubbles was bred in Holland and brought up by Abbe burchmore eames who is a 5star international showjumper, bubbles has competed 1.40m internationally and my plans are to reach these levels with her.
My instructors are David britnell who is 5star eventer and rob waine who is an dressage Olympian I also go out to many training clinics. me and bubbles have come so far together as a pair and our journey hasn’t stopped there are new paths for us to adventure together, we have been to many championships with pony club and came first.
-Pony club qualifier I came 2nd and qualified for champs
-at champs my team came 1st
-Addington 90cm 2nd
-Addington 100cm 1st
-Quainton 90cm 2nd
-Quainton 100cm 6th
-dressage pony club qualifier came 3rd individually and 3rd as a team
-dressage champs 12 individually
-Quainton 90cm 1st
-hicksted my team came 10th out of 120 over the next coming months I’m looking to step it up. I promise that I will work my very hardest with you and your company as much as I can I am back out and about at training, clicks and starting shows now so I will help grow your company everywhere I go and it would be amazing to be supported by you going out in your products and showing off your amazing products and being proud competing in your brand, you would give me confidence in taking more challenges and I would take new opportunities with your support

After having a nasty fall and loosing my confidence a few years ago and then buying the totally wrong horse I have now found my perfect partner which I would love to get back into show jumping with

I do everyday school and riding but I compete mostly in Showjumping. BS and fun unaffiliated! My best friend Juliet was a semi professional show jumper before she passed away in May 2020. When she was healthy and looking after her horses, (As well as me as much as possible to help her) They were always well looked after and fed on Spillers feed for everything! I love the fact Spillers has a large range of feeds and nutrition for all purposes for every horse. She had young and old horses which required different diets.
I’ve currently helped an ex race horse called Eddie, from being put to sleep as he was so underweight. I knew to feed him on Spillers due to the knowledge that I can trust your brand.
He is fed on your senior mash, condition fibre, mix and the digest + cubes and today in only 3/4 months he’s looking incredible and it makes me so proud he is going to be ok!
I would be so honoured to become an ambassador for Spillers because I can show awareness to the public to go for your brand for positive reasons, Juliet my friend would of been really proud too as she would of wanted this lovely opportunity!

A little more about me:
- I’m 21yo and have just started my first full-time job
- I studied Computer Science at Lancaster University where I was also part of the equestrian team
- Whilst in my first year on the equestrian team, we qualified for the national finals where I was placed 3rd individually for dressage. I was also team captain in my final year, and qualified for regionals as an individual (which was sadly cancelled due to COVID).
- I’ve been riding my whole life, but started having lessons when I was just 4yo
We would love to be an ambassador for you. We get out and about a lot, and I post everyday on our Facebook page (Megan Borland Evening) and Instagram account (@megan_borland_eventing). I don’t only post our highs, but also our lower points - I like to make our journey together relatable for everyone. Our goals and aims are to carry on with our pursuit of eventing, hopefully in the long term working our way up the levels to at least 1m (the same being said for show jumping). We also want to carry on developing our dressage (my personal goal is to finally ride a medium test). But ultimately we want to continue having fun together.
