Looking for a FREE wholesome horsey day out this summer?

How about a trip to one of Redwings Horse Sanctuary’s sites for some nose scratches with their special residents and see the amazing work they do!

Since forming in 1984, Redwings now cares for over 1,500 rescued horses, donkeys, ponies and mules at its centres around the UK, five of which provide sanctuary homes where you can meet the residents and enjoy delicious coffee and cake knowing all proceeds go towards caring for their rescued herds. The sites contain a variety of characters, and you can meet everything from Shires to Shetlands at a Redwings centre!

All the sites offer paddock walks, home adoption stars, have super gift shops and cafes, and dogs are welcome. All sites are free to enter and park and allow you to enjoy your own picnic. Having met the centre’s lovable residents, you might like to sponsor one of the charity’s adorable Adoption Stars. Available from just £2 a month, you can adopt for yourself or as a thoughtful gift for a friend or loved one. Everything Redwings does is 100% funded by the public.
