We’re on a mission to end equine obesity in the UK by 2035. We’re continuing to invest in scientific research to provide evidence-based advice and practical management and feeding tips for horse owners with overweight horses and ponies.
Alongside this, we set up the SPILLERS™ Slimmers’ Club. This Facebook group is host to a wealth of advice, insider tips, and motivation. Here you’ll find best practice guidance on feed, forage restriction, enrichment, turnout, and exercise, backed by our science as well as others’ success.
We have partnered with Your Horse Magazine on their Fit Not Fat campaign and write a double page article every issue on equine obesity, this is where you come in...
We're looking to work with dedicated owners of overweight horses and ponies who are committed to making 2024 the year they really get on top of their horse's weight.
Introducing the 'Diary of a Slimmer' – a unique opportunity for you to help your horse lose weight with personalised support and the chance to share your success in a national equine publication!
To get involved simply fill in your details below. We'll ask you to submit monthly photos and weigh ins (using a weigh tape) and also body condition score your horse (don't worry, we'll explain how to do this). We’ll showcase some of the best weight loss stories throughout the year into the Slimmers' Club to help motivate other owners too.
As the year comes to a close, we'll be selecting the most inspiring stories to feature in the magazine.
The final feature will showcase a diverse range of horses and ponies to demonstrate that, regardless of size or breed, healthy weight loss is achievable.
We’d love to send you emails about new product updates, special offers, and news from Spillers, and other Mars Petcare brands.
